First on the calendar was an induction ceremony for my honor society, Pi Alpha Xi. As secretary, I just had to stand with the other officers and read a few passages to the newbies and their families. Oh, and more importantly, bring the meat and cheese trays.
Cupcake cake. What?
I rounded out the rest of the day by renting a kayak and paddling across Lake Bryan while eating PopRocks with a friend. We had some Class A Struggles getting it onto his car at the rental place, so on the way back we just stuffed it through the back window of his SUV. Oops.
Calm, cake, and kayaks. DAY 28 COMPLETE.
